Getting Started

Everything you need to know before your first visit.

4 questions
Head to our Get Started hub, pick the treatment category that fits your goal (weight loss, energy & longevity, hair, skin, men’s, women’s), and complete the intake form. A board-certified provider reviews your information within 24 hours and prescribes if appropriate. The whole intake takes about 5–10 minutes.
All 50 US states. Our provider network is licensed in every state, and our compounding pharmacies ship nationwide. We do not ship or prescribe outside the United States.
Start with the Get Started hub — each category has a brief intake form. Your provider will recommend the best treatment based on your goals, health history, and labs (if applicable). You can also use our AI assistant for quick guidance, or message support to talk it through with a human.
The intake form itself takes 5–10 minutes. Provider review happens within 24 hours. Once approved, prescriptions ship typically within 2–3 business days.

Treatments & Care

How treatments work, results timelines, and safety.

4 questions
Yes. Many states require a provider visit for weight loss or for dispensing any medication. Profusions partners with Wasef Health and Qualiphy provider groups for clinical care.
Your provider reviews your intake form, goals, and (where appropriate) lab work to recommend the treatment that fits your specific needs — not a one-size-fits-all approach. You’re an active participant in the decision: your provider will explain options and answer questions before you start anything.
Varies by treatment:
  • GLP-1 weight loss: 4–8 weeks for measurable change, 6–12 months for major results
  • NAD+ and peptide therapy: 2–4 weeks for energy/mood improvements
  • Hair loss treatments: 3–6 months
  • Acne/skincare: 6–12 weeks
Your provider will set realistic expectations during onboarding.
Yes — when prescribed and monitored appropriately by a licensed provider. Long-term safety profiles vary by medication; your provider will discuss monitoring protocols, recommended labs, and any duration limits for your specific treatment. We don’t take shortcuts on this.

Pharmacies & Medications

How our compounded medications are made and sourced.

5 questions
We partner with four LegitScript-certified compounding pharmacies:
  • Olympia Pharmacy
  • Strive Pharmacy
  • Emerald Pharmacy
  • Striker Pharmacy
All four are US-licensed and FDA-registered.
Yes. Compounded prescription medications ship directly from our partner pharmacies (Olympia, Strive, Emerald, Striker). Supplements are fulfilled through our Fullscript dispensary.
A compounding pharmacy creates customized medications tailored to individual patient needs — different doses, ingredient combinations, or delivery forms than mass-produced drugs. Our partners are LegitScript-certified, FDA-registered, and US-licensed, held to rigorous safety and quality standards. Compounding has been a legitimate part of pharmacy practice for centuries.
Compounded versions contain the same active ingredient (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide) but are made by a compounding pharmacy rather than a major manufacturer. They’re typically:
  • More affordable
  • Available in flexible doses
  • Accessible when brand-name versions are in shortage
Always made by US-licensed, regulated pharmacies under prescription.
The active ingredients in our compounded medications are FDA-approved. Compounded medications themselves are not FDA-approved as finished products — they’re regulated by state boards of pharmacy and FDA-registered compounding facilities (503A and 503B pharmacies). This is standard for all compounded prescriptions in the US.

Shipping & Delivery

Timing, packaging, and handling of your prescription.

3 questions
Most prescriptions ship within 2–3 business days of provider approval and arrive in 2–5 business days via expedited shipping. You’ll receive tracking information by email once your order ships.
Yes. All shipments arrive in plain, unbranded packaging with no medical or product information visible on the exterior. The sender label simply shows the pharmacy name — your neighbor can’t tell what you’ve ordered.
Temperature-sensitive medications (peptides, biologics) ship in insulated coolers with cold packs sized for the duration of transit. We use expedited shipping for these to minimize time in transit and preserve potency. Refrigerate immediately upon receipt per instructions in your package.

Account & Subscriptions

Managing your active prescriptions and account details.

2 questions
Log into your patient portal — your account page has direct controls for active prescriptions, including pause, dose change, and cancel options. Cancellation is immediate and there are no cancellation fees.
Yes. Message your provider through the patient portal at any time to request a dose adjustment, change a treatment plan, or discuss side effects. Providers typically respond within 1 business day.

Privacy & Safety

How we protect your data and handle clinical concerns.

2 questions
Absolutely. Profusions is fully HIPAA-compliant. All intake forms, provider communications, prescription records, and chart notes are encrypted and stored in our HIPAA-compliant patient portal. Your health information is never sold or shared with third parties.
For mild side effects, message your provider through the patient portal — they’ll advise on adjustments, timing, or supportive care. For severe or concerning side effects (difficulty breathing, severe pain, signs of allergic reaction), seek emergency care immediately and then notify your provider.
